Spending Less Time

The less time you spend doing something the less you desire it.
The less time you spend with someone the less you desire them.
Out of sight, out of mind so to speak.
The less time you spend working towards your dreams, your goals, your aspirations the less likely they will become reality.

Infidelity

“But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.” Proverbs 6:32

Excerpt from “The Holy Spirit and The Will of God” by Dr. J. Vernon McGee

"My friend, today the only place in the world you and I will ever be contented and satisfied and happy is when we reach the place where we are abandoned to the will of God."

Focus (Restore It and Maintain It)

Are you at a standstill in life? Take a moment and reflect. Have you accomplished the things that you originally set out to do? Has it been 1 year, 2 years or 3 years since you said “I’ll get to it tomorrow?

Action is a key to success. With regard to your purpose, dreams, goals, and aspirations are you moving forward? Are you moving backwards, falling behind and running out of time?

Have storms in your life caused you to look around and lose sight, direction and focus?

Set aside some time to be alone. Pray and ask God to lead you, guide you and to restore your focus. You may have to eliminate some things or people in order to accomplish and fulfill your purpose. Do not let fear stop you – II Timothy 1:7.

Dust off your plans and start again. Execute your plan daily. A little action a day will go a long way.

Start today! Do it now for tomorrow may never come.

True Significance

When you have found that place of true significance, meaning and purpose no one or nothing else matters. True significance can only be found in Jesus Christ, LORD and Savior of mankind.

What's Inside?

One cannot expect something out of someone that is not in them. People are who they are because of what’s inside of them (Past Life Experiences), and where they are mentally, physically and spiritually. What’s inside of an individual will eventually come out - Matthew 12:34b

Until a person’s heart is changed they will not change. One cannot expect Heathens to be Holy or Sinners to act like Saints.

An individual’s life and lifestyle exemplifies what, who, and whose they are. It also reveals what they love. What one watches, hears, and reads as well as the places they visit and the relationships they have greatly influences their behavior and reveals their character.

Learn to Evaluate your Intake because what’s inside is who you really are.

Greener Grass

Sometimes when you realize that you have made the wrong choice it is too late and unless God miraculously intervenes, you must live with the consequences forever.

Learn to pray and heed to the voice of God before you make decisions and choices.

Two statements that I have come to learn are true:
“All that glitters is not gold.”
“The grass is not always greener on the other side.”

Pray and think long and hard before you make decisions.

Water and nurture your grass before you jump the fence and trade it in for a new lawn. Once you go across the fence you may never be able to come back. You may find out that grass is not greener or cleaner on the other side. You may now be stuck with weeds, bugs, and things that you could not see before you crossed the fence. In short make sure you know before you go because once you go you may be gone forever.

Remember:
Psalm 23:1-6
Psalm 121:1-8

Grace For Your Thorn

“And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
(II Corinthians 12:7-10)

Do You Have A Thorn?
Husband?
Wife?
Job/Career?
Illness?
Family Member(s)?
Friend(s)?
Coworker(s)?

Sometimes God allows people and or things in our lives to keep us humble, focused and dependent upon Him. God’s grace is sufficient to help you endure no matter the situation or the circumstance. Just continue to pray, trust and obey God.

Remember:
Hebrews 13:5
Psalm 34:19
Psalm 46:10

Relationships

Those with whom you surround yourself greatly influence you.
Who you hang with determines how high you will soar.
Your relationships impact your revenue.
If you want to soar high you need to hang with Eagles and get out of the Chicken Coop.

Speaking Properly

"A SOFT answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." (Proverbs 15:1 KJV)

Learn to control your tongue.
Think before you speak.
Speak the right words at the proper time.
Words spoken can never be retrieved.

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." (Proverbs 18:21 KJV)

I was informed that when you lose your temper (your tongue) you lose.

"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:" (James 1:19 KJV)

Work

"The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat." (Proverbs 13:4 KJV)

The only place that success comes before work is in the dictionary.

"Action leads to acquisition and achievement"
-Vincent T. Edwards "Mr. Speaker"-

"Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase." (Proverbs 13:11 KJV)

Expectations

People will let you down and truly disappoint you, especially those who are close to you. I have come to know and understand that you can not expect out of a person that which is not in them.

"…for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh."
(Matthew 12:34 b KJV)

Thieves will steal, liars will lie, murderers will kill and sinners will willfully sin until their hearts and minds are transformed.

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
(2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV)
