The Sovereignty of God

Sovereignty can be defined as:

• Supreme Excellence
• Supreme Power
• Freedom from external control
• Autonomy
• Controlling Influence

We may not always understand or agree with what and how God does things, but we must learn to accept what God allows in our lives. For it is He that created us and knows what’s best for us.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV)

God is Sovereign

"For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." (Romans 9:15-16 KJV)

Relationships

Those with whom you surround yourself greatly influence you.
Who you hang with determines how high you will soar.
Your relationships impact your revenue.
If you want to soar high you need to hang with Eagles and get out of the Chicken Coop.

Speaking Properly

"A SOFT answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." (Proverbs 15:1 KJV)

Learn to control your tongue.
Think before you speak.
Speak the right words at the proper time.
Words spoken can never be retrieved.

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." (Proverbs 18:21 KJV)

I was informed that when you lose your temper (your tongue) you lose.

Work

Expectations

People will let you down and truly disappoint you, especially those who are close to you. I have come to know and understand that you can not expect out of a person that which is not in them.

Thieves will steal, liars will lie, murderers will kill and sinners will willfully sin until their hearts and minds are transformed.

Thoughts

"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:…" (Proverbs 23:7a KJV)

Be defined by your purpose and not by people.
What are your thoughts about yourself and about who you are?
Are your thoughts positive or negative?
Do you think BIG or small?
What and who do you think you are?

What you think you can become.
Think BIG and your dreams can grow!

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Action "The Concept of Doing"

"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was." (James 1:22-24 KJV)

People often look for and want the magic pill to success. That pill does not exist.
There is one thing that separates the successful from the unsuccessful and that is ACTION. Action is the prerequisite to achievement and accomplishment. If you want to acquire something take action and DO what is necessary.
